Tour of Tallahassee and Traffic Skills Practical
Did you know that most bicycling crashes are actually preventable by (wait for it….) bicyclists! And that’s GOOD news, because it means YOU have control over your own safety on the street. Come learn about common mistakes we cyclists make, traps we can be led into, and how to avoid them. Then come out on Saturday morning and “Train Your Bike” for riding in traffic. Learn some simple skills to make riding easier, safer, and more fun! Finally, take a “Tour of Tallahassee” to try out what we’ve learned. This is an easy group ride through a variety of different road cycling features, designed to build confidence (and did I say “have fun!”?)
Contact DeWayne Carver at dcarver@hpe-inc.com of you have any questions about the course! Cyclists of all skill levels are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Thank you to Commuter Services of North Florida for sponsoring the first twenty registrants for this class! Sign up today! Click here to register.

Hi DeWayne!
I am definately coming to the Friday night talk but I am supposed to go out of town on Saturday. I think that I probably already have the bike skills anyway…being a mountain biker, etc. Anyway, Can we show up and pay the day of? Let me know. Karen
I went in to this thinking “OK, I will do this as a public service for cycling in Tallahassee”. I came out thinking “Wow, I am so much better informed and confident riding in town.” This is an over-the-top great course.
