The full CyclingSavvy Course INCLUDES Truth & Techniques (classroom session), Train Your Bike (bike handling) session, and our signature on-road experience — Tour of Charlotte.
- Truth & Techniques (classroom session, no bike needed): 7 PM to 9 PM Wednesday, April 21 and 28. Due to requests we have broken the presentation in half to maximize retention of material. Virtual session. Link will be sent to registrants the day of the course.
- Train Your Bike (parking lot skills session): 2-5 pm Sat, May 1 at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church on 1510 E. 7th St.
- Tour of Charlotte: 10 am – 1 pm Sun May 2. We’ll start from and return to the parking lot in front of Okra Yoga at 1912 Commonwealth Avenue.
The Tour of Charlotte is an experiential tour of our city’s roads. The course includes some of the most intimidating road features (intersections, interchanges, merges, etc.) a cyclist might find in his or her travels.
We’ll travel as a group, stopping to survey and discuss each exercise location. After observing the feature, discussing the traffic dynamics and the best strategies for safe and easy passage, participants ride through individually and regroup at a nearby location.
Truth & Techniques is a classroom session. No bike is required. Train Your Bike (bike handling skills session) and the Tour session are both on bike sessions.
The ticket below is for the full three-part class, including the Tour of Charlotte session. Once you sign up, go here for essential information you’ll want before the workshop.
