Supporting bicycling advocacy and education by sharing savvy strategies for bicyclists' safe use of roadways and trails.
Live in the suburbs of central Ohio which provides wonderful opportunities for experiencing urban and rural environments, starting from our front door.
My spouse, Tricia, is also a Cycling Savvy Instructor. We both have benefited from engineering educations and careers, yielding a generally rational approach to life.
Our basement and garage are filled with bicycles, and when the weather is good, in all likelihood, we will be cycling. I have been riding on roads as an adult for over forty years – self taught for the first decade, taught by cycling club members and friends for another, adopting and teaching Forester’s techniques of Bicycle Transportation, and ultimately evolving to Cycling Savvy’s methods of road navigation.
As a Cycling Savvy Instructor I hope to share with you the best, savvy techniques for road and trail bicycling, and learn from your experiences.
