The PowerSavvy Ebike course will teach you how speed influences crash risk, the components of defensive bicycle driving, how to avoid motorist’s mistakes, and the dramatic difference in stopping distance based on speed and skill level. You’ll come away with a better understanding of where you are safest while enjoying the full speed and transportation potential of your ebike. You will also learn what is and is not a legal ebike, the different types of motors and sensors, and how to properly care for the battery.Â
The CyclingSavvy Basics course will give you all the tools you need to recognize and respond to common crash risks. In this course you will learn about the rules of movement, bicycle-specific laws, high risk situations, nighttime safety, and more.
Both courses come with a certificate of completion.
