Patricia Kovacs –
I have shared the original Street Smarts with friends and family. My sister said she learned how to ride safely and wonders how her husband survived commuting to work without following the recommendations from John Allen. The new version of this book is better yet. The updates to the group cycling chapter are excellent and the new version includes roundabouts, which are intimidating to cyclists but when using savvy cycling techniques, are a breeze to cycle through. The new illustrations are wonderful. This book includes many tips for left turns, finding gaps in traffic and positioning for visibility and destination that I learned from CyclingSavvy. It’s a must read!
