Maybe you’ve limited your bike riding to path riding or off-road. Maybe you used to ride, but don’t feel confident in today’s traffic. Maybe you’ve never ridden a bike before!
Part 1, Truth and Techniques, brings you up to date on the real risks of cycling and how your riding strategies and mindset can minimize these risks. This course presents the many ways the cyclist can avoid conflicts with other roadway users. E-Bike riders welcome!
This in-person course is sponsored by the Bike Hub, through a VTrans year-round riding grant. It’s part of the 3-part CyclingSavvy program. We’ll be offering the on-bike segments of the program, Train your Bike and Tour of Bennington, in the Spring and Summer.
