Knowledge is power, and in cycling, knowledge is the power to go where you want by bike; safely, confidently, and with a minimum of stress.
Every day we hear the common myths about cycling dangers and risks, mostly from media stories or anecdotes from friends about individual instances of danger or discourtesy.
Truth & Techniques tells you what the facts are - the results of years of study of the real reasons cyclists get into conflicts, and how to avoid them. You’ll learn how your behavior can influence drivers, and make cycling more enjoyable for you.
This is a classroom session. We’ll talk about equipment, but you won’t need any riding gear or a bicycle for this class.
This class is your opportunity to develop or polish up your bike handling skills .
You'll get plenty of practice through a series of exercises and the help of two trained instructors who will work with the group and with individuals on everything from (power) start to (emergency) stop and all the skills in between.
And, It's fun!
