This week we will discuss the challenges posed by freeway-like features on surface streets. People who want to use bicycles for transportation will have to deal with this type of infrastructure to reach some destinations. Bicycle infrastructure can be a huge help for both access and comfort. It can also be an attractive nuisance. We’ll discuss the importance of helping people recognize the increased workload associated with reducing risk on some types of bike infrastructure.
